ROSES FOR THE LIVING
Wendell Drallette
Pictured above is Wendell Drallette, one of the junior members of the firm of Drallette &
Son.
Wendell was born in Weidman July 16th, 1911. He graduated from Weidman High
School in 1928. He then took a year’s training in Ferris Institute and a year at Central State
College in Mt. Pleasant. It was his intention to take a medical course, but after a year of
preparatory study he decided to enter the general merchandise business in which his father
and brother were engaged.
On March 29th, 1938, Wendell was united in marriage to Iyonne Casner of Clare. They
made their home in Weidman until recently, when they moved to Mt. Pleasant where Mrs.
Drallette is employed in the office of the Register of Deeds.
Although we can not claim him as a resident at this time, yet the major part of his time is
spent in Weidman in his connection with the store business.
“Roses for the Living” is pleased to testify to the many sterling qualities of Wendell’s
character. He is always extremely courteous, dependable and has good judgment and is a
good salesman. So we place him among our successful young business men, and our good
word for him is gladly given.
