ROSES FOR THE LIVING

                                                         Kenneth Drallette

      This week we have the privilege of including in our “Roses for the Living” a young busi-

ness man of our village, “Ken” as every one knows him, and no one is known by more

people in this community.  He was born in 1909, that’s thirty-one years ago, and he has

resided in Weidman that many years.

     Ken graduated from our High School and a few years later with his brother became a

member of Drallette & Sons.  This store was founded by Ken’s grandfather, George Drallette,

so that Ken is the third generation in merchandising here.  This store is one of the leading

general stores in central Michigan, and that they carry good merchandise is evidenced by

their ever in creasing business.

     Ken’s pleasing manner and his ability to meet people well has made him a host of friends.

We again affirm our belief in Weidman’s many young men who have made good.
